Telemarketer
Call Screening |
Now
you can tell telemarketers what you really think
Price: $4.00 per Month
How it Works:
Calls from telemarketers are typically delivered to your phone as “unknown”
or “out-of-area.” This service intercepts these calls, and announces
that you do not accept calls from telemarketers. The great thing is, your
phone doesn’t even ring. It also instructs telemarketers to add your
name to their “Do Not Call” list. Other callers are advised to
dial 1 or stay on the line to be connected.
Message Played:
“The number you have reached does not accept calls from Telemarketers.
If you are a Telemarketer, please add this number to your “Do Not Call”
list and hang up now. Otherwise, please press 1 and stay on the line.”
Notes:
This service will not block all telemarketer calls. Calls from telemarketers
who do not send their calls as “unknown” or “out-of-area”
will ring to the customer’s home. If a telemarketer ignores the warning
please get the name and phone number of the company calling and contact the
FTC or the Consumer Protection Agency.
